The genius

When I was a child I grew up listening to Faith No More, because of my cousins who are huge fans of the band. At first, I didn't understand his music, but with the pass of the years I finally caught the concept. His music became an important way to avoid problems and cheer up.

To see them in Chile was a thing i'd never imagined. In 2009, Faith No More reunited and make a world tour. I had the opportunity to went to his gig. I arrived to the Estadio Bicentenario at the eight o'clock. I needed to see the band in the first row. The wait seemed to go on forever, but all was worth it.

Mike Patton and friends jumped to the stage and the crowd has become very crazy. With his megaphone he started to screamed the first song. In that moment, I was in another dimention.I couldn't believe that was real: I have a my music hero in front of me!. "King for a day" and "Ricochet" are my favorites songs and when they played them, I cried like a baby. In one moment the audience started to spit the singer, making a particular moment in the show. That is a ritual between the band and the chilean fans. That 30th of October is marked with red in my calendar. It's one of my favorites shows in my all life.

In the next years, I saw three Faith No More's gigs: at Estadio Bicentenario in 2010 and Teletón y Maquinaria Festival in 2011. In simple words, the most amazing band in the universe.
